Recently, I've been amazed and impressed of the Swedish music scene. A week ago I saw I'm Kingfisher, and this weekend Johan Brännström made a appearence at Klubb Springfield. Johan has this charming attitude which makes you think of an Astrid Lindgren-character, Abbe from Madicken was the first to hit my mind, and with this and his amazing voice and energy, he made my night.

Stockholm: Klubb Springfield and Ted Morris

This saturday (October 2'nd) Ted Morris plays live at Klubb Springfield, a club at Magnus Ladulås on Österlångatan 26 in Stockholm, Sweden. I will really try to get my act together, find a babysitter and go there. It's a shame that I haven't been there yet. Klubb Springfield is run by Marie Lindfors and Jimmy Robertson and besides having great live acts, such aas Ted Morris, they play americana, folkrock, singer/songwriter and alternative country.

J. Tillman, Debaser och Klubb Springfield

Josh Tillman är trummis i Fleet Foxes, som jag skrev om häromdagen. Han har också sedan 5 år tillbaka en solokarriär och har släppt ett stadig ström album under dessa år. Nu senast albumet Year in The Kingdom som tyvärr inte finns på Spotify, det gör däremot Vacilando Territory Blues.

Fredagen den 2 oktober spelar J. Tillman på Debaser Medis, vilket även Malcolm Middleton gör. Mellan spelningarna är det Klubb Springfield som har hand om musiken. Det kan nog inte bli annat än succé.
